Alternatively, you could copy the axusr.aod file to your 'old' folder and
rename it to the lower layer (say axcus.aod) and create an upgrade project.
We did something like that when we ended up with some stuff in the cus layer
and needed to migrate it back to the cus layer.

Emne: [development-axapta] merging usr layer mods into var layer

I have a new customers with quite a few mods on same forms reports,
where some mods are in the var layer and some in the usr layer.

What I would like to do is migrate/merge all the modifications into
the var layer so we only have a single deal with in doing comparisons
and such to upgrade them from Axapta 2.5 to Axapta 3.0.

Is this a common problem/concern?

Anyway, would this work:

Create a project file with all modified forms, reports, EDTs, etc
that are modified in usr layer and export the project file. Delete
the mods from the usr layer. Import the project file into the var
layer?

I understand there can be a problem if there are tables involved.
There are a few tables, but I'm mostly concerned with forms & reports.
