Hi Luis,
This happens before actually trying to print. It occurs when I first click
the 'print' button on the toolbar (that should bring up the autpreport
dialog). The PDF printer is set as the default, so it shouldn't be trying to
communicate with any other printer (that was why we installed the PDF
printer in the first place.)
We don't have Document Image Writer installed, but as I said I don't get as
far as selecting a printer anyway, so I don't think that would help much.

Are you perhaps trying to print to a printer that is un-available?
Does this occur when you print to the PDF printer?
Do you have a Microsoft Office Document Image Writer installed, how
about printing to that one?
