In the methods "under" a control (a stringedit or any other control), "this" refers to the control.

The different types of controls have different methods to get and change the value. Stringedit has the method text() for this purpose.

In methods not undet the control, you refer to the control by name (in your case "Komp1"). This requires that you set the Autodeclaration property to "yes".
