I think I read somewhere that the doUpdate(), doInsert() and doDelete()
are used when you do not want to use the Axapta validate functionality.
For example, if you use insert() then the validate write method and
other rules are obeyed before the insert, whereas, doInsert() does not
do the validate functions?

delete() can be overriden and consistency checks and other actions
usualy can be added in delete().
