Hi James

Blanking the master planning license will do.

But I just change the code in InventSumLogTTS.insert so no super call is executed. Then we were sure no other standard error will screw it up.

Thanks Anders,

Does that mean blanking the master planning license will not stop
records being created in this table?  If so could you share where the
code can be changed.
Thanks
James

We'd a similar case.

We just deleted all the records and change the code so no more records
were insert.

Everything works fine now. And the customer doesn't have to take back up
of 8GB useless data!

I have just found for a customer that InventSumLogTTS is the biggest
table in the database (1/6th of the total).
Based on what Helmut posted back in March last year I realised I have
the case where the customer has master planning license in Ax3.0 SP1 but
does not use it.

Can I just delete the records in the InventSumLogTTS table?  Or do I
have to run master planning to get the records cleared.

I take it I should blank the master planning license code once this is
done to save this table growing again?

Thnaks
James

Hi

The INventSumLogTTS table is not only used for the IMTS, but also for
Master planning. If you have a master planning license, the table will
be filled. The records will be deleted when running the master planning.
(another disadvantage of that: if you have a master planning license but
n ever run it, the records will never be deleted).

Best regards
Helmut

Betreff: [development-axapta] Use of InventSumLogTTS table

Hi all,

Our customer is suffering from blockages in InventSumLogTTS table.
This table is being blocked when the master planning is running and,
e.g. a user tries to insert an inventory journal line.

The system is using this table although the IMTS functionality is
disabled. Does anyone know why InventSumLogTTS table is being used?
And how can I avoid these blockages?

Thanks in advance,

MCruz Margaix
