Nothing, when using the unified login, Axapta bypasses it's own security
completely. I would recommend setting random passwords in Axapta that
the user doesn't get to know.
However, make sure your users are away that this is a potential security
hole, and that they should keep a strong password for their network
account, and remember to lock their workstations when leaving it, as
others may otherwise gain access to Axapta easily.
An easy way to lock a workstation is to press the Windows key + L at the
same time.

Thanks, that's quite useful. I take it with this system it's no longer
necessary to maintain passwords then? What happens when a user's
password
expires?

Hi all,
If you enter the windows-logon name in the field 'network name' and
leave
the usernae blank in your config, your result is that the user doesn't
have
to enter his/her name and password.

Hi all,
Does Axapta support single sign-on? I know in
admin->Setup->Security->Password Parameters it is possible to set Axapta
to
accept the network name as the user's login, but is there any way to
link
Axapta login to windows login so that the users will not need to
physically
enter their username and password? And if so, how does the password
updating
work?
