I'm having a major problem that i didn't expect.
Doing an ax 2.5 to ax 3.0 upgrade. The ax 2.5 version had many custom
tables in usr layer - most of those we wanted to drop in ax 3.0, so
they've been excluded from the usr layer in 3.0 - all except for one.
When we sync the database in ax 3.0, the table we want to keep is
empty, I suppose because it's table id is different than same
tablename in ax 2.5.
I've found i cannot export data from ax 2.5 to a .dat file and import
into ax 3.0 - i get error saying data was exported in prior version
and can only be imported into ax 3.0 if there was only one company.
Customer has many companies in ax 2.5
So, question is - how can i get the data moved/copied from tablename
in ax 2.5 to same tablename in ax 3.0 when they have different table
id#'s?
Is it possible to specify in ax 3.0 same table id as ax 2.5? Maybe
export table def from ax 2.5 with some option so it gets created in
ax 3.0 with same table id#?
