Thanks, but I actually have a library of regular expressions, it's just
that Axapta does not use quite the same syntax. It uses :n instead of \w
and many other differences which made my attempt at translation fall
flat. I was just seeing if anyone else solved this problem before.
Thanks for the tip on the Match() function; I did find that in the
documentation (believe it or not.)

If you google "regex valid email address" you'll find a lot of hits for
sites with exactly what you are after.
Here is one:

It shows a regular _expression_ used to validate an email address.
The regular _expression_ checker in Axapta is the match() function, in
case you hadn't got that far yet.
