If it seems that the MUIC has stopped working, it might be that is
in the phase of making the ledger transactions.
The MUIC works as follows:
1. You make the list of items that are to be calculated
2. You start n clients for the MUIC. Every client takes the next
item number (may as well put it back again at the end of the list)
3. After all items have been calculated, the *first* client, the onw
you started the calculation on and the one that also generated the
item list, only this one single client will make *all* ledger
transactions that resulted from the item calculations.
And if you are unlucky (and have a lot of transactions), this will
take veeery long. It could even happen (I had that once on a huge
customer db) that the creation of ledger transactions results in
your memory being eaten up and the whole process shuts down.
So, in your case I would check if the first client is doing the
ledger transactions.
