I´ve got 3 Applications (two for testing) running on the AOS, each with
different ports. 4020, 4030,4040.
And I´ve got the problem since 4-6 weeks with no modifications made.
Any idea for another port number and why?

not really. I restartet every switch on the network and the got the problem
less often.
Seems to be something with the network and that the AOS is quite sensible...
Do you have a solution or the same problem with a client?

In my running environment Axapta 3.0 SP2 with MSSQL 2000-Server the
AOS shuts down with event 117 once or twice a day. Some user
disconnect, some stay alive on the system. The disconnected user can
reconnect without any problem.
The clients use MDAC 2.8, same as the AOS Server and I have the
problems since 3 weeks, without made any changes :(
Changing the Database Tab "leave connection running while idle" had no
effect.
Has anybody a solution or idea for the AOS shut downs?
