Emanio EDI Translator to Axapta.
The project went live 2 months ago.
We started with classes from the Biztalk interface which are not very good
(read complete) and XCBL is the worst representation
of EDI document. After coming to the conclusion that the MBS partner had no
clue about implementing EDI, we abandoned
XCBL and I wrote XML representations of the missing documents. The biggest
problem is that Axapta does not have the
data fields to properly support EDI. Axapta needs extensive modifications.
(On top of ADS) My customer deals with over 60 EDI customers
(Sears, Walmart, Sams Club, Costco, FlyingJ, Target, BestBuy, etc) and all
of there warehouses use 940/945 943/944/856 documents
