[development-axapta] performTypeLookup / performDbLookup

I am trying to use performTypeLookup to lookup data in a different 
company e.g.

_formStringControl.performTypeLookup(sysDictField.typeId
(),sysDictField.arrayIndex(),_dataArea);

but axapta ignores the _dataArea parameter. 

Any suggestions?
