I'm a new developer to the Axapta World and have a client that
needs a 3rd Party DLL integrated to their Axapta Installation that
does material optimization. The DLL in not developed to the COM
standard and is not available in that form. I don't have experience
with this yet and hope that one of you would be kind enough to
provide some sage advice that points me in the right direction.
I'm developing a class wrapper to make the calls to the DLL and
process the outputs from it. The DLL parameters are arrays of int
and double data to push the information into the DLL and empty arrays
for output that are passed by reference that the DLL will fill with
the solution and will be read within the class for presentation
within Axapta.
Can someone point me at a good document that shows a brief example of
this type of process? I've read the previous posts and responses
which point to a review of the WinAPI class as an example, which I
have done! But still have something not right.
I am using the "safearray" method of creating my arrays for passing,
if this is not correct let me know
