I cannot tell you about this error in specific, but I can tell you that it's more likely to get interesting new errors on 2003 server, than 2000. You should have SP1 installed or at least have patched your windows with some unpublished patches (you get then from MBS). If you keep getting this problem, I will recommend you to try on a XP machine first with the same application.

Hi!

I want to configure the enterprise portal on Windows
Server 2003, but when i try to test the business
connector I have the next error:

Result of the Microsoft Axapta Business Connector test
The Microsoft Axapta Business Connector was loaded
without problems.
Could not logon to Microsoft Axapta
This may be due to wrong or unspecified user name and
password for COM-logon in AxConfig, or that
permissions to the COM-logon do not exist.
Error information
Method 'logon2' in COM object of class
'AxaptaComConnector.Axapta2' returned error code
0x80041009 () which means: The operation cannot be
performed, since it has been disabled by its security
key.
One or more problems occurred during the test. Read
about setup of the Microsoft Axapta Business Connector
in the online help.

I check the permissions of the use, and they are
correct (Business Connector Permissions).

Can anybody tell me an other reason for this error.
