Try check RunBaseReport.initReportRun(), there is a comment saying init() is called from the report.

I've tried your example and I can confirm the behaviour you mentioned. But I can't really explain it.

Objet : [development-axapta] Sequence of methods on reports
Hi
Could someone please verify something for me.
I think I have a strange sequence of method-execution on reports and
would like your comments.
If a report is executed using a class extending runbasereport, the
reports run-method is called before init-method. Is this the case for
you as well ?
You could check this if you add a run method to the report
LedgerBudgetReport, adds breakpoints in the super() statements of init
and run, and starts the report using the class LedgerReport_BudgetReport
I'm running 3.0 SP3.
Thanks in advance
