thank God Axapta is a kind of "open source" system that allows to view and use all source code !!!!
So, by default there is *no* code protection - only for some kernel classes of Axapta which are not visible.
Best regards, Tobias

I thought it is by design to have all source codes visible!

Betreff: [development-axapta] Protection of source code
Hi all,
How does one protect one's sourcecode effectively?
It appears that one can prevent ACCESS TO FUNCTIONALITY by obtaining a
licence code from MBS, but this scheme allows any user, licenced for
X++, access to the sourcecode making up an application.
I've searched this forum and found only one reference to this topic.
Any information will be much appreciated.
Regards,
Christoph
