[development-axapta] COM Connector Timeout

I am having problems whereby, when a user does not use a portal page for
a while, the following error appears:

 

AxaptaCOMConnector.Axapta.1 error '80042041' 
Error executing code: WebApplication object not initialised. Stack
trace: \Classes\WebApplication\SetProp \Classes\WebSession\ParseArgs -
line 36 

/i_axapta.asp, line 4 

Is there a way I can extend the timeout period of the COM connector?
