My view point on this is that if the Enterprise Portal is going to be used,
it should be setup as a Extranet site, separate from your customer site, and
intranet site.

The enterprise portal does not work in a Tradiontal ASP sense, even though
it seems like it does. I don't think you are going to be able to pass
creditals, though you might - I have never seen it.
