Whenever it is possible, always try to put methods on the tables as you will be able to use them elsewhere in the code and they will profit from some optimization.

In that case it will resolve your problem.  The problem you encountered is probably due to the fact that you have put your method somewhere on the form (not in the DataSource) and that it will always use the current InventTable record selected for the sum, even on other lines.

Hi all,
  
  I created a new form based on InventTable and and add a display mathod which finds the stock quantity from InventSum.
  It works for the first line but it doesn't for the rest.
  
  Where should I have put the 'select from InventSum' code so that it works for all lines in my form ?
