I think it will get wrong result with that code :
  for example i've got data :
  
  Row 1 : B=2 C=2   
  Row 2 : B=3 C=3   
  
  Row 1 : B*C = 4
  Row 2 : B*C = 9
  SUM(B*C) = 13
  
  But with your code :
  SUM(B) = 5
  SUM(C) = 5                            
  SUM(B) * SUM(C) = 25
