...you should have seen the documentation in Ax 3 and earlier ... anyway - things like curUserID() are documented and there is a "find" functionality both in AX and MSDN (did you ever notice, that Germans "search" while Americans "find"?) One more trick: There is a System documentation inside AX. Although the information links to the *.chm file (with "currently no information") you can set the property "enable HTML help" to "no" and read the "old" help - which is actually there in a lot of cases. But of course you are right and the online help NEEDS TO BE IMPROVED. Best regards, Tobias ________________________________

The most used record is: "Currently, no information is available for this topic." MSDN is slow, so you need many hours to find the bad informations. birne_apfel73 --- In [email protected] <mailto:development-axapta%40yahoogroups.com> , "Andrae, Tobias" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > Hi Febin, > > there is a *huge* documentation inside AX / Axapta and on MSDN ;-) > try this one: > > http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa630899.aspx > <http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa630899.aspx> > > hth Tobias > > ________________________________ > > Von: [email protected] > <mailto:development-axapta%40yahoogroups.com> im Auftrag von febinpc > Gesendet: Fr 09.03.2007 12:28 > An: [email protected] > <mailto:development-axapta%40yahoogroups.com> > Betreff: *SPAM* [development-axapta] Current Userid > > > > Hi friends > I'm working on AX 4.0, I want catch the Current Userid of application, > or in simple language we can say ,I want to print the Current user ID > Can anybody help me to solve it... > Reagrds > Febin Chiramel > > > > > > > [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] > [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
