You need to point the client to the Dynamics Instance:
here are the intsructions:
Point a client to a new Microsoft Dynamics AX 4.0
instance
1. Start the Microsoft Dynamics Configuration Utility.
2. Click Manage – Create new configuration.
3. Enter the name of the configuration. In this case
enter Development.
4. On the Connection tab, click New
5. Enter the Application Object Server name, instance
name and TCP/IP port number.
6. Click OK to complete.
