Karyn,
I believe that I have run into a variation of that same behavior. I
found no solution and have had no response to the issue I filed [1] some
weeks back.
If you think we've hit on the same bug and have more to add to the issue
please do.

This works fine, and the date browser Prev, Month, Next, works perfectly.
However, I also want my visitors to be able to filter the events by

However, in the preview, the filters will not effect the output at all.
