We have report this since a long time for older's foneras and normally, it doesn't work.

    Those are the whitelisted domains. They are necessary for showing the
    captive portal correctly, so the other foneros can connect. By default
    they are fon.com <http://fon.com>, google.com <http://google.com>
    and some others (for the FON shop and web
    stats and those other things). You can add your own domain to the
    whitelisted ones through the FON userzone, but you do not remove them
    unless you do not want to share with the rest of foneros (and in that
    case you do not un coova-chilli altogether)
