I guess it doesn't support MJPG but only YUV (uncompress stream)
You can check this out when the webcam is connected to your linux PC
with the following:

It has a good compatibility in linux since long time ago, but in
fonera 2.0n doesn't work. Icon of webcam appears ok, and java is
activated, but images of webcam doen't appear.
