Hi Florian,

The Fonera+ firmware only has limited support, meaning new releases will
only happen for critical (security) issues. The issue that you mentioned
is not likely to be fixed.

There was once an attempt to port the 2.0 firmware the the Fonera+, but
that was never finished (and has never worked). The actual firmware
running on the Fonera+ is based on a different codebase.

The code for the Fonera+ should be available from
http://download.fon.com/firmware/foneraplus/latest/foneraplus.tar.bz2 in
case you want to try things yourself.

See also http://wiki.fon.com/wiki/La_Fonera%2B and
http://wiki.fon.com/wiki/F%2B_Adv (the latter also mentions the klogd
issue you mentioned).

Feel free to hack on the firmware yourself, but we will probably not be
accepting patches (they need time to be verified and possibly improved
and we rather not force firmware updates unless absolutely necessary).

Gr.

Matthijs
