QWS was tied to Qt Embedded. When Lighthouse came to the point where multi-
process display servers were needed and a replacement for QWS was necessary,
we quickly came to the conclusion we could adopt a standardised solution.

That was Wayland.

So Wayland replaces QWS in Qt 5.
