I have tested 4.8.3 on LinuxMint12 x86 and Debian6 x64 for my application, it reports segment fault on starting up. I'm not quite sure if it is Qt's issue or my application's since my application works well yesterday when it was built against Qt 4.8.2 on both the platform I mentioned above. I will take more investigation to see which part has the problem.
