Thank you for stepping up, Marc. You're now finding yourself in a task that is
hardly easy, but one the Qt Project will thank you very much for.

Understand that, as the overall QtWidgets maintainer, you're now holding the
responsibility for the entire module, whether there's a sub-maintainer for
them or not. In that position, you have now the responsibility for ensuring
the overall quality. With that responsibility, comes the right to overrule any
change that you feel would detract from the stability. It's really your call
to make.

On the flip side of the same coin, it does allow you to bless a change if you
feel it is stable enough. That includes new features in that module, up to and
including changing the state from Done back up to Maintained. I'm not saying
you should, at least not until you've had a chance to understand what the
overall quality of the unit tests. And, of course, the module's direction must
be aligned with the overall Qt Project's vision -- a subjective matter.
