Coincidentally we noticed a over-the-wire serialization problem today. With QVariant. But it's likely not an issue with above mentioned format version 13. Rather with a backward compat mode. Do I see it correctly that tests/ only cover 4.9 and 5.0 versions? Hmmm. I now realize that I can answer this question myself given that the coverage results we just posted... http://download.froglogic.com/public/qt5-squishcoco-report/QtBase/source_143.html (see QVariant::load() and save()) We'll investigate what's going on and submit a patch if it's a problem in QVariant or QDataStream.
