That change gets rid of the trailing space that was added for every qDebug() << ; statement. I guess nobody will really miss it ... but it might be that there are still auto tests checking for it! So, if you've mysterious autotest failures in somemodule/dev where expected output isn't found any more, this might be the reason. Actually QTest now takes this into account for a simple ignoreExpectedMessage(), but that ain't help you if you're e.g. comparing QProcess output ...
