This is UI toolkit plus windowing abstraction layer as I understand it. Converting Chrome terminology to Qt:
'Views' => Qt widgets (QPushButton etc.) 'Aura' => The foundations of QWidget (event routing, alien widgets, the backing store, QPlatform* classes) 'Ash' => A window manager. The front-end of ChromeOS.
