Yes, thanks to Mike! He started it implementation, but does not complete
it. ;)
For example, some people (e.g. on our russians forums) ask me about
"non-rooted" Android support. In this case I always forward/point these
people to Mike's patches (to looks and to try those patches). But this
people faced with many errors in this implementation where it does not
worked on their side, and then refuses from the serial ports in favor to
WiFi/Bluetooth sockets. So, need to complete and to test this
implementation.
I would be glad if someone could continue and complete it. But I am not
able to do it himself since I am not an expert in Android. Thus this
task still is "in air".

Mike Gonza worked on a wrapper of usb-serial-for-android and provided
patches a while ago but they were not accepted because
usb-serial-for-android is LGPLv2.1 only:

As a consequence, Qt has no support for non-rooted serial port on
Android. AFAIK there is no alternative to usb-serial-for-android
(other than reinventing it from scratch with a more acceptable
license). Or is there?
Is there any chance Mike's patches are at least merged as an optional
feature which is not compiled by default?
