Hi all, for those submitting patches to Qt the last few days were actually not very rewarding since the continuous integration hasn't been working really.
I really hope that we're back on track, since Monday we had all kinds of things coming together to hit us one after the other. Since we want to make the long term support with Qt 5.6 a reality, we have been restructuring how we test and produce packages. The two were completely independent processes before, but we aligned them so that we have one system testing and producing the binaries for the packages. In the process we hit some small road bumps, such as having to enable the sql plugins and noticing that they don't actually always build smoothly, which started the mess on Monday. We also had a small bug that prevented integrations from finishing, so that the queue grew larger and larger, revealing some ddns and dhcp issues and eventually a full disk too since we were just piling up more and more VMs. In fact we've been so busy fire fighting that this mail comes a bit late... Long story short, we did a lot of fixing and hope to be back with full force. Just now we have the "dev" branch still locked down to make sure we are back to normal, things should roll as usual again in a few hours. Sorry for the inconvenience and bear with us, Qt 5.6 will be better than ever once this is sorted out :) Cheers, Frederik _______________________________________________ Development mailing list [email protected] http://lists.qt-project.org/mailman/listinfo/development
