Hi,

In principle that manual is still correct.

There was work going on towards automating the setup for everyone through the
use of a vagrant template
that would call puppet, etc. do to the installation. I believe that was still
part of a work-in-progress branch in qtbase,
but it hasn't hit any development branch yet.

The server used in production is basically created from this manual, but it's
not automatically kept up-to-date
from the puppet tree in gerrit. However if you have changes to the setup there,
please let us know (CC in gerrit) and I
think that we can apply these to the server in production.

Simon

Subject: [Development] Setting up test server for QtNetwork tests

Hello,

What is the recommended (and possibly easiest) way to set up test server for
QtNetwork?

I've found manual [1]. Is it the preferred way? If so, is Ubuntu 10.04
required, or other versions (e.g., 12.04 or 14.04) may be used as well?

Isn't there any ready-to-use VirtualBox or Docker image with test server?
