Qt 6.10 status - The first Qt 6.10.3 snapshot is tested, nothing alarming is found. - The target is to branch '6.10.3' from '6.10' Mon 2nd March. - The target is to release Qt 6.10.3 Thu 12th March. It will be the last release from Qt 6.10 series.
Qt 6.11 status - Qt 6.11 beta3 is released. - Branching from 6.11 to 6.11.0 is done - RC content is not frozen yet, blocker list here: https://qt-project.atlassian.net/issues/?filter=19114 * The target is to freeze the RC content immediately after fixes for known blockers are in. * The plan is to release Qt 6.11.0 RC Fri 27th February, but most probably there will be small delay (because content isn't frozen yet). Next meeting Tue 3rd March 2026 16:00 CET br, Jani Heikkinen Release Manager irc log below: [17:00:06] <jaheikki3> ablasche: akseli: carewolf: frkleint: lars_: mapaaso: The-Compiler: thiago: vohi[M]: ping [17:00:29] <vohi[M]> jaheikki3: pong [17:00:45] <frkleint> jaheikki3: pong [17:00:55] <thiago> jaheikki3: pong [17:01:23] <jaheikki3> Time to start qt release team meeting [17:01:27] <jaheikki3> on agenda today: [17:01:31] <jaheikki3> Qt 6.10 status [17:01:34] <jaheikki3> Qt 6.11 status [17:01:43] <jaheikki3> Any additional item to the agenda? [17:03:11] <jaheikki3> Let's start from Qt 6.10 status (which is the same as it was last time): [17:03:34] <jaheikki3> First snapshot tested and nothing alarming found [17:03:55] <jaheikki3> The target is to branch '6.10.3' from '6.10' Mon 2nd March [17:04:06] <jaheikki3> And the target is to release Qt 6.10.3 Thu 12th March [17:04:27] <jaheikki3> And like earlier said, 6.10.3 will be the last release from Qt 6.10 series [17:04:33] <jaheikki3> Any comments or questions? [17:05:44] <jaheikki3> Ok, then Qt 6.11 status: [17:06:00] <jaheikki3> Qt 6.11 beta3 was released last week [17:06:15] <jaheikki3> Branching from 6.11 to 6.11.0 is done [17:06:34] <jaheikki3> Qt 6.11.0 RC content is not frozen yet, blocker list here: https://qt-project.atlassian.net/issues/?filter=19114 [17:06:59] <jaheikki3> But the content will be frozen when we got all fixes in [17:07:26] <jaheikki3> The original plan wa to release Qt 6.11.0 RC Fri 27th February [17:07:46] <thiago> don't think I can help with any of that [17:07:55] <jaheikki3> But most probably that won't happen, because content is not frozen yet [17:08:33] <thiago> QTBUG-144015 may not need a blocker [17:08:41] <jaheikki3> thiago: yeah, agree. And fixing should be ongoing in all of open ones [17:09:03] <thiago> it's reported as a regression, but there's no proof of it [17:09:39] <vohi[M]> QTBUG-144015 fix is integrating already (just updated the JIRA ticket and fixed the assignee) [17:10:37] <vohi[M]> it might turn out to be a regression in 6.10.2 -> 6.10.3 instead of 6.10 -> 6.11 though :( [17:11:39] <jaheikki3> Yeah, it was all about 6.11 status at this time. Is there more comments or questions? [17:12:49] <jaheikki3> Let's then end this meeting now and have new one Tue 3rd of March at this same time [17:13:09] <jaheikki3> Thanks for your participation, bye! [17:13:42] <vohi[M]> d8683f6f7d05d488aca61735b078c0be1eb4ff3c is not in 6.10, so probably a 6.11-only problem. [17:13:42] <vohi[M]> Bye! [17:14:15] <frkleint> bye [17:14:25] <thiago> bye -- Development mailing list [email protected] https://lists.qt-project.org/listinfo/development
