Most disappointed that most of the good stuff appears to only be available for

Hey David,

While Qt Quick (which is QML, indeed) is indeed the primary UI technology for
us at this point, most of the new stuff is actually usable for Qt Widget
applications as well. For instance:

- CanvasPainter includes a QCanvasPainterWidget, and generally has a
comprehensive C++ API
- in StyleKit we explicitly added support for Widgets styling in Qt 6.12
- Qt Graphs works fine in a Widget UI and also has a fairly comprehensive C++
API (i.e. https://doc.qt.io/qt-6.12/qlogvalueaxis.html in 6.12)

Widget applications run fine on HarmonyOS, and QRangeModel specifically works
with both Widget and Quick item views.

So, lots of goodness for Widgets users in Qt 6.12, in addition to various
smaller additions - mostly contributed by the community - to the Qt Widgets
module [1].
