Hello, I have noticed that every time the stylus (or anything else) presses on the screen, there is a constant jitter or vibration on the pointer position. It seems to be totally impossible to touch the screen and not generate any pointer movement. This movement seems to appear around in a 3x3 pixel box, sometimes around 5x5.
Now, is this normal for touchscreens? I don't see it happening on my Nokia 770. Is there any way to tune it in software? Or is this just a local problem on my device. This is really problematic in practice, since every software that differentiates between a click and click-and-move (drag) seems to take every touch to be the latter. One simple example of this is the included terminal application - when touching the screen, it will always select something. There is no way to deselect, as every touch will always be a drag. This also occurs in some scroll-bars - the scrolling is all jittery since a 3-pixel movement will often induce scrolling in large lists - and there is no way to get it to keep still. TIA, -- Naked
