I'm sorry Jay but you must have missed something in the computerworld...
ever since I changed my AT motherboard for an ATX, the powerbutton got
a new function.
Or if I want the old function, I have to press it for 4 seconds?
Still I agree with you and I, as a palm user, feel much the same as
Shawn. Why do I need to close an app?
I also never did that in GeoWorks Ensemble...
(Oh and on the b&w Palm Vx, holding the On/Off button for a while,
used to turn on the background light)
