I like it - this is also sort of how Open Street Map and Free The Postcode got around issues with copyrighted geo data by effectively crowd sourcing it. I guess once you have the analytics up, you can just advertise that site as the "add my device" site, and if anyone does navigate to it by accident, give them the option to opt out of submitting data. Though I suspect what you had in mind was more drive-by analytics... > -Bertrand
