I'm working on the committer ID, but I believe, the initial API contribution by 
OpenDDR was already committed to the DeviceMap repository.
Hopefully we can get the ball rolling in the Repository area, too.

There's been interest by AeroGear team (who already uses PhoneGap/Cordova) to 
look into DeviceMap for their server-side "Controller" part of AeroGear.
