Good, I will have to take a look at the results and see if anything more can be done.
Something we should consider are fallback patterns. For example, we can make an "Android" pattern which will classify the device as a generic Android touch phone with average dimensions and features. This will catch devices which slip thru the patterns. If we make it using the "SimpleDeviceBuilder", it will have the lowest priority, similar to how desktops get classified. ________________________________ From: eberhard speer jr. <[email protected]> To: "[email protected]" <[email protected]> Sent: Friday, June 28, 2013 11:16 AM Subject: Test Results - continued -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Had another look at the results and : 1,355 : DeviceMapClient says "desktopDevice", OpenDDR has a DeviceId 915 : are Android 63 : are Symbian 377: actual desktop devices So that puts us at 92% 'success' ! esjr -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.8 (MingW32) Comment: Using GnuPG with Thunderbird - http://www.enigmail.net/ iQEcBAEBAgAGBQJRzai2AAoJEOxywXcFLKYcSn8H/2wUXVAGCWyjGDtE/tSgFHSU I9L2Je8sRHZiErpBPw5K+sma3mSkg9uSFhQxPWqqI1EYk3POcXJ2BRo6+gMbfXpj 6sdFnflaxzcA0SU6KkuwfGWRbDjQim77f0qV8I4h4iWxUZZ3R9ERy1BqU0WbDepa 99IqoJR/ERiwS4UYxO1ZigQEsLb3/1mQ2Cku4C5lz0wsgkJlIXR0zT0jmuZ6ugnW dgVyXyFglAULDHgkJtd7ZmyWrqb8ve44Gvk/OuUjZ4QiUNa41XTuUYEx2kSknXes scVJEWRM/+czysGcQeyOUko05QpGhPJrriPI9yEbk17LVjoricwsW9XmCmiHqdc= =cEgP -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
