One place I'll manage to point out soon, how server-side device recognition
like DeviceMap is helpful will be an article about Automotive Embedded and
Infotainment systems.
HTML5 is seen as an important factor by many vendors and given the OS
underneath such screens is often proprietary, not even as commonly known as
let's say iOS, a cross-platform scripting like Cordova/Phonegap seems to
have little chance in this area. Plus scripts for many of these areas are
highly toxic and security concerns, given PhoneGap is even on Android
sometimes considered malware by virus scanners[?]

Device capabilities and different makes and models in automotive just like
other areas like smart home, smart TV, etc. will become more and more
important. Not just "has audio", but e.g. "is audio mono, stereo, dolby
surround, etc." seem relevant here. And most importantly in an end user
device market where Millions or Billions of devices may use mobile web apps
by either the vendor or service providers, mobile operators, etc. these
will refrain from paying a Billion Dollar per year "data hostage" fee to
the likes of ScientiaMobile and other crooks, even though these may hope
that in their wettest dreams, but companies are usually not stupid, most of
them even do their best or worst to avoid paying taxes[?]
