E-Smith Network Card

I still can't get my E-Smith to see my network.  I don't know if it is even 
seeing my card.  I went ahead and went into the command prompt and typed 
"ifconfig".

I received information for the lo, but there was no eth0, which I was told 
was the network card.

This means it isn't seeing my network card, correct?  Any other valuable 
comments or suggestions?
