MMMMMmmmmmmmm, I wasn't talking about this kind of graphics :) With
BigBrother, BrigSister, NetSaint or whatever you get a great snapshot of
the current status of a lot of computers. They are great to help you
control a big network because they pinpoint easilly to the places
where you have a problem. It might be a good idea to use this with all
the machines I put in my clients sites but they don't give me what I
really want.

Sure, but I know there are easier ways to achive this. Besides that,
BigBrother its not GPL and you need to pay $$$ if you plan to use it
comercially and I guess puting it in my clients servers it's commercial
:)

Yeah thats the point. The graphics appear great in the e-smith manager
AND give the user (and me) a lot of info about the status of the server.
For example, you can see how are you using your DSL line, how many
people uses the server at the same time, if you have some problem with
the fans (high temperature), if you need more RAM or whatever.
So I want my client to see these graphs when he wants and to see them
myself once in a while. Of course this means I need another mecanism to
alert me when something really important it's happening.
At the beginning we where planning to use some kind of LCD that will
show this info (with LCDforlinux) but they are not cheap (40$ to 60 $)
and I can't see the results myself. Besides, it won't keep data longs
enough time to study it propertly.
So I guess I'm stiked to MRTG or it's "bother" RRDD. If anybody has
some experience with them, please contact me :))
See you and really thanks for all your help.
