Right in one, thanks. I was sort of confused as to where that number
came from. I'm still not sure how it got in _there_, but at least that
explains how it got from there into httpd.conf.

[dan@e-smith e-smith]$ rpm -q e-smith-base
e-smith-base-4.0.12-28

I haven't installed any more recent updates yet. However, if I
understand this correctly, the new e-smith-base version will update
ExternalIP to be my PPP IP address whenever the PPP connection is
established. However, when I expand-template
/etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf, it's going to create a virtual host based on
the PPP IP at the time that expand-template is done, right? If so, it
seems that it still won't work after the next time I connect (unless
expand-template and service httpd restart are part of the connect script
every time). Thanks for the help, though, this is making quite a bit
more sense than it was.

BTW, would it be possible to set this list to have a default reply-to
address of the list?
