I have been doing the ORiNOCO, and have it working, still messing with it.
Lucent has the drivers for the ISA slot pcmcia card, but it isn't really
easy to do.  It needs a full compile, and there is a lot of work.  A
pecularity that I have is that local "pings"  out of Xwindows are at 4
seconds, and if I telnet to the machine, I get 4ms, and things work fine
from the telnet....  hmmmmm     Not doing it on E-Smith yet, but RedHat
6.2.
