I'm sure you know your product better than I do, but wasn't 3.x the
current version in 9/99? My recollection is that IMAP wasn't included
at all until 4.0. I distinctly remember setting up my e-smith 3.0-based
machine in 11/99, and needing to find and install an IMAP daemon that
supported maildirs.
