Let's discuss then:

Once you release 4.1 I will start testing the Obtuse SMTPD - need to go back
to my mail archive and find your instructions? Are there any other
install/configuration instructions on your website ?

Are you refering to trend?

Ok so basically we can use any command-line virus scanner to scan the files.
This like reporting viruses, alerts, web-interface will either have to be
developed under the e-smith we-console or be provide by the virus scanner of
choice.

Gordon, have you guys found a paticular scanner that works with Obtuse
SMTPD - personal preference. I have tested fsecure, Mcafee & AntiVir 6.04
(which appears to be free"ww.hbedv.com" on e-smith server. All perform file
scans from commad-line. I assume we are going to have to use a commercial
virus scanner on these servers.

Just going back to my previos mail - like I said we have tested Trend
interscan for linxon redhat server running sendmail - works really well!!!!
Have you had a look at it?I did chat to Charlie about this product a while
back but he didn't seem to keen on it?

Regards
BF
