I have put the NewsCache program up on the web for you to download
if you want to try it.  Unfortunately it does need to be compiled and has
only been tested on e-smith 3.1 & 4.0.

It is different from the leafnode below in that users can see all newsgroups
on the upstream server and they are immediately available for reading.
I works like a proxy server in that once it downloads and article for one
user, the it caches for any subsequent users.
